    Few questions battery , update , replacement battery

    I'm new to this forum and to the transfomer pad.
    I have the 103 for couple of weeks and I have some problems / questions.

    1. Battery won't charge to 100% max 40% 50%
    * ive freezed the charger --> Didn't worked so far ( tried for couple of charges).
    Should I continue ? For how long ?

    * use low amp charger ?500mAh?

    2. If I won't be able to solve battery charging issues - can anyone tell me what is the exact spare number part of a replacement battery I couldn't locate on the net.

    3. Is there a software update (android o.s update) available for the 103 ? Is so do you recommend it?

    If you are having these problems you 100% absolutely positively have a bad device and it should be returned as soon as possible. Hopefully you are within the return time frame of the retailer or are able to convince them to exchange it.

    If you are not able to do an exchange you will have to go through the RMA process with Asus. @Asus_USA has an account on this forum and they should pop by any day now to give you their special " social support" hotline. Or alternatively you could just call up the main support number and clearly explain what is wrong with your deice. It is always best to have the manufacturer to repairs like this especially when it is free for the first year.

    ive purchased the 103 via Amazon.com which is Asus USA i guess. Im situated in Israel and im not sure asus IL will except US warranty.

    Fortunately Asus runs a global warranty system so you are covered internationally. As long as Asus has a consumer presence in Israel then you should be able to contact them and work things out.
