Interesting... just didn't get to think about it. So, one can set a custom animated bootup screen? I would tinker on an idea of displaying my studio logo... What software do you use?

I dont get it. It doesnt let you move or rename the stock bootloader so how do you do it?

If you're rooted you can replace the bootanimation in system/media
If not rooted you can use ADB to push the bootanimation.zip to data/local
Android devices upon bootup will look in data/local first for the bootanimation.zip file
if it's not there than it will go to system/media. I like to put mine in data/local as it leave the original bootanimation.zip
alone. That way I can always go back to it by deleting the file in data/local.

ADB is the android developer bridge. There are many threads in different forums regarding its use. It is part of the android sdk you can get from Google. It is not a market app but something you install on your computer that allows you to connect to your android device.

If you Google android and adb you should find a link that will show youre info. If I had more time at the moment I would provide something so I apologize I don't have more info.
