Rooted TF101 has to be cold booted every time it powers on.

I have a rooted TF101 (B90, Android 4.0.3, CWM Recovery v5.8.3.4). Every time I power it off, I have to cold boot it to turn it back on. Everything else works just fine. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

I am guessing it is in a recovery loop where if you boot normally it just boots to recovery.

I would install the goo manager app from the play store and use it to install TWRP recovery (go to settings and select install open recovery script). TWRP works better with the TF101 than CWM for some reason. Also, stay a long ways away from ROM Manager, it has a tendency to cause bootloops on the TF101

First, where did you get that recovery? If you installed via ROM Manager, please, please do not try to install anything with it. ROM Manager and TF101 does not mix.

You can fix it by flashing another recovery. I would HIGHLY recommend using TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project). It is much nicer than any CWM IMO. Also, nandroid backups backup the kernel (CWM on TF101 does not back up the kernel). Also, TWRP can see the internal and external memory. All your wipes are in ONE location (cache, davlik, factory reset, system, internal, external), it has a terminal so you can issue terminal commands, and more.

To get TWRP, install GooManager from the Play Store. Tap the menu button, then choose Install OpenRecovery Script.

    Profit.

If you really want to stick with CWM, I would use Rogue XM Touch. Use EasyFlasher to install them, or push the blob file from a terminal using the dd command.

I've moved this thread over to the TF101 Rom section of the forum, where talk of blobs and such take place.
