The only thing I don't like about this thread is I don't have enough time to stop and grab jb 4.2 for my tablet. Its making me itch something fierce though. As soon as I have a day off I'm so doing this...!

I havent flashed any new kernel or anything so I was just curious which one would be suggested. Getting the itch to tinker again lol.

I have been a flash-a-holic for the past year. I have pretty much tried 90% of the ROMs during this time at some point. I am pretty set on TeamEOS 4 as of now (but you probably already knew that!)

You can run the stock EOS kernel and it is perfectly fine. The only other one that is pretty widely used with this ROM and is really good is the KatKernel (link in the OP). Many users as of now are sticking with the B145 preview and the 80b kernel. Some users are having lag with the newer kernel (85). If you use the SD slot in your dock often, the KatKernel has an issue mounting the SD card in my experience. Need to either reboot, or unmount/remount again in the Settings - Storage section.

Ill have to take a look and try. Ive noticed my battery life has been less with the B145 than 93. Looks like 94 is out now though so we will see.
And by less I mean before B145, my battery would only go down 3-4% overnight (about 8 hrs) and now is around 7-8%. I havent disabled the auto rotate though so we shall see. Any suggestions/ideas anyone wants to throw my way feel free.

Noticed a small thing in 94. I'm running that and katkernel 92. Sometimes after sleep/unlocking the screen, the dock battery disappears. I then have to undock/redock to fix. Just passing it along.

tethering with samsung i9100 S2
dear all, before all THANK YOU for the awesome job you're doing with this rom.
I installed may roms and I fund this one the best one till now, but I'm still not able to tether my phon connectin (3g) with the tf101. Tried many times different kind of configuration, but seems not able to establish a vpn connection (thru BLUETOOTH) nor via WiFi...
Thank you if someone will be so kind to give me any suggestion.

I have heard good things about foxfi but never used it. The tethering option in CyanogenMod seems to work just fine over WIFI

EDIT:
this fantastic rom is now working perfectly for me: just installed KAT KERNEL instead the native EOS one and I can use the phone connection using pdatablet on tf101 and foxfi on the phone (both free apps)
Hope this will help someone with same issue.
THANK YOU EVERYBODY
p.s. sorry for my english, it's not my native language

Re: [OFFICIAL][FAQ] TeamEOS 4 (Android 4.2.1) for the TF101
This is a great help. Thanks. One correction though. Setting your minimum clock speed to a non default value such as 312mhz does NOT prevent the tablet from entering deep sleep.

just a little suggestion. Hope to help people with same issues. After flashing kat kernel and installed the apk (with all wipes etc) it was a problem trying to read any usb drive inserted in docking... SOLVED after uninstalling the apk, entered in recovery and wipe CACHE and DAVILK. I exactly don't know if depends on the app uninstalled or the wipes I did under recovery, but the result is that now the docking is able to mount any usb drive connected (fat32 and ntfs as well). THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR THE BRILLIANT JOB, I'M REALLY FALLING IN LOVE WITH THIS ROM.
