Re: Android 4.2 for the TF101..
I had installed this over the weekend and absolutely hated having the nav buttons in the middle of the screen. Searched all over for a fix and even tried adw launcher but could not figure out how to move those darn nav buttons. Uninstalled it after that. Anyone know how to move nav buttons?
-
I haven't flashed it yet. other then thr Nav issue, did you hve a chance to check the Rom's features, speed and reliability?
-
can't move them as of now. Paranoid android may let you move them once it is updated to 4.2 but with cm10.1 and aosp its stuck the way it is. I have actually gotten quite used to it.

Re: Android 4.2 for the TF101..
Sorry Jeffrey I thought it was eos rom you posted. I had tried some 'experimental' rayman eos rom and didn't like it with the middle nav.
I tried probably 5 different jb (4.1.2/4.2) roms this weekend and didn't like most. I can't remember everything I didn't like about cm10 but short list was felt bloated and would not play my bhtv app (in hd) which was my primary reason to rom. Tried few kernels and gave up. Settled on eos build 81 which has problems too (no gps and sound sucks) but snappy and clean. Was able to bypass sound problems with eq app. Tried eos 4 this morning but it is causing me to boot loop so back to eos 3-81.
I tried aokp/cm10/liquid/ eos2 and 3/paranoid/different rayman roms.

Getting a boot loop after installing this rom
Eee Pad screen boots, then the AOKP Initiating Swagger screen for about a second, then reboots... again and again and again...
Any help anyone?

I tried the EOS4 Rom too, build 88 and it installed fine but like every other JB ROM I've tried the wifi was too weak for reliable use for me. The Nav buttons are changed from the new JB settings in the settings... their are two places to change settings one was for the "old style" it worked. I hate that centered Nav bar thing too!
I can't be more specific, I reverted to stock until I get a stronger hotspot available to me. I was using the KAT kernal 70b, also tried the stock one. Guess I'll be stock for a bit more as wifi is very touchy here-but everything else on that ROM looked nice to me and worked. Don't mean to hijack the thread, just answering the Nav thing.
Edit: I'm running EOS4 nightly 106 with KK 101, it runs nicely, NAVBAR is customizable, lots of support! LMT handles navbar loss.

use Pie Control apk https://play.google.com/store/search?q=pie or if you don t mind that after every boot need to launch once the LMT Launcher [APP] LMT Launcher v1.96 for GNex/Nexus4/Nexus7/GSIII/HD2 and more... (ROOT) - xda-developers instead of nav buttons with Apex launcher
