Where is CWM backup stored?
Hi:
I have installed this Universal Root Toolkit 7.1 from XDA - all worked fine on a B70 on 8.6.5.21. Now have root & Clockwork Recovery installed.
I have made an initial Backup using Clockwork recovery, but cannot find any backup?
When I ran the backup it said:-
Couldn't open directory
No files found
SD Card space free: 28665Mb
Backing up system...
backing up data ...
and so on ....
The backup looked like it was running & took quite a few minutes, but I couldnt find any backup?
I have a keyboard dock - should this be connected before running a Clockwork recovery?
Can someone put me straight? I am obviously doing something wrong. Have tried a search but cant find a suitable answer.
Thanks
JellyW

Saves it to a folder on the MicroSD Card called "clockworkmod"
TF No longer charges: Clicky
Transformer won't boot: Clicky
Power / Lock button issues: Clicky
Flash downloaded ASUS Firmware: Clicky

That what I thought, but no such directory on my MicroSD card??
This is really baffling me
I will manually create the directory & see if it works after that.
Thanks

Your MicroSD Card is in the tablet half of the Transformer not the dock ?
You are entering ClockWorkMod by Holding Volume Down + Power to boot ?

Yep sure is!
Just a thought - this card is a Kingston 32Gb Class 10 microSD card. I wonder if the TF101 doesnt like the card?
UPDATE: I just upgraded CWM to Rogue XM Recovery v1.3.0 (CWM 5.0.2.7) - replaced the 32Gb card with a Class 4 4Gb card. Ran a backup & it worked - I can see the directory "clockwordmod" with a sub called "backup" containing the full backup!
BINGO! Looks like my issues were with the 32Gb Class 10 card!
Thanks for your assistance - much appreciated

Good news it is working, maybe you should update the developer of CWM with your discovery if it can not handle SDHC cards, was it formatted to FAT32 ?

Yes formatted to FAT32!
This is the card I was using - maybe a good idea to avoid these?
Thanks

Yes, that's right, go ahead and ignore the possibility that you could have gotten a fake card. The US market is saturated with these fake critters. They are 512mb cards that have been rewired to show 32gb on your device.

I know there are plenty of bad/fake cards on the web, but Amazon or one of it's retailers?
You could run h2testw available from here:-
Download H2testw 1.4 Free - Check your USB for errors with this tool. - Softpedia
This should give you a clue as the cards true capacity!
ASUS Transformer 16GB TAB B60, DOCK B60
Build Number:- IML74K.WW_epad-9.2.1.27-20120615
Mobile Dock Version:- EP101-0213

When I play CWM, I disconnect the dock for safety.
