    New owner questions

    Hi i have some questions
    1) When the dock is done charging, will the orange light will turn solid?
    2) If i charge the TF while it is docked, do they both get charged and how will i know when they are both done?
    3) Is there popups that inform you of updates for the TF and Dock? (so i dont have to worry about manual downloading updates and installing?)

    Thanks for your help.

    1) When the dock is done charging, will the orange light will turn solid?
When it is done charging the dock, it will turn solid green.
    2) If i charge the TF while it is docked, do they both get charged and how will i know when they are both done?
They will both get charged. How to know when it is done? From both dead, about 5 hours charge should do it. If it is green on the dock, the tablet is usually fully charged. To check the tablet charge level, look by the clock
    3) Is there popups that inform you of updates for the TF and Dock? (so i dont have to worry about manual downloading updates and installing?)
Yes, it will notify you. Usually it happens immediately after a tablet firmware updated.

Also, I highly recommend the Dual Battery Widget. This widget will show you the level of charge in the tablet and the dock batteries, as well as charge status.

You may need to reboot (or at least force close the Launcher) after installing for the widget to show up in the widget list.

Thanks, i have another question. In the lower right corner, there was an icon that told me my gmail account had 7 updates. I opened it but i closed it without updating anything. I cant find where to enter that screen again. I wanted to update the stuff...

If you open the Market App, then tap either the "My Apps" or the arrow pointing down at the top of the screen on the right hand side of the screen.

The apps that need updates should be at the top of the list on the left.

1, The Orange light will turn green at 95% charge.
    2. They both get charged - download the "dual battery widget" from the Android Market, it displays the status of the dock and the tablet batteries.
    3. YES - not popups but Notifications in your lower right -- you will have to start the update manually.

I think the answers I gave are correct but someone may elborate on these.

    Hi Blank, & welcome.

I would recommend you do two other things to help with your new gadget, first, visit the Asus website & download the user manual for the tf. It will give you lots of useful information. Including the answers to the original questions you asked.

Second, go to http://www.transformerforums.com/for...honeycomb.html as this will give you help on android itself.

    Enjoy your new gadget.
