    Polaris Office programme problem

I have just been given this Eeepad and wrote a document. I sent it via email to a PC running Open Office and while trying to open it to print it crashed the Office programme. I then put it in my drop box and tried to open it on my laptop with Open office . The same thing happen. (Even as I write this the text is very slow coming up).
Any suggetstions as to what I can do??

Also can I load Open Office on to this eeepad transformer?

I thought I would try to use google docs, the desktop version and although it came up, the cursor ready to type, but the keyboard would not pop up and when I put on the other keyboard it wouldn't work. Is there something wrong with my eeepad???????

Few people are having problems with Polaris and their saved documents, I found a nice Office App yesterday you might prefer to use - it seems more like Open Office than Polaris.

Many users have reported issues with Polaris compatability unless working with Microsoft products.

Other options are OfficeSuite 5, Kingston Office, Quick Office HD Pro, and Documents To Go. Office Suite, Quick Office and D2G are far superior IMO to Polaris. I have not used Kingston to know how it ranks.

As for the typing lag, I assume you are using the stock browser. If so, check out some other browsers such as Opera Mobile, Maxathon and Dolphin (HD or Pad) as they have less lag. Opera Mobile is my go-to for typing and Dolphin for regular browsing.

Edit - As Leeshor pointed out, it is called Kingsoft not Kingston (was going by memory, whoops!)

If you're looking for Kingston Office you won't find it. Look for KingSoft Office.

BTW; this was originally suggested by Detection and the ribbon bar at the top makes editing documents much easier than having to hunt for formatting tools like some of the apps want to do.
