Remember, pre-installed Apps that your Asus came with can't be uninstalled. (Unless you root your device...trust me don't even attempt that!) You are probably just removing apps from your homescreen but actually not uninstalling them.

To uninstall apps, that you have downloaded and do not want anymore, is from your homepage. Go to Apps upper right of TF screen, then go to ALL or My Apps to find the desired app you need to uninstall. Tap hold and drag to the uninstall trashcan that appears.

Another way to uninstall: Go into Settings on your Transformer, then Applications, then Manage Applications, scroll down 'till you find the app you want to uninstall and choose uninstall.

Sounds like the OP may be discussing mail, in which case it requires a whole different angle. May be a sync issue if that's the case.

If that's the issue, Mr. Ricketts, ignore my babbling post above!

Are you using the stock mail client?

Are you checking mail for the same account anywhere else?

Are you using it as a pop or as an IMAP client?

in leeshors reply line 2 is probably your answer.

if you access em from other devices, they will stay on the server unless you elect otherwise.

this is to stop you deleting them on one device and then finding you wanted them on the other devices

If you are using Windows Live Mail, are you using it through a browser?

You didn't answer the question regarding E-Mail client is why I ask. Some of the E-Mail clients have settings that tell the server not to delete mail when you delete it from your local system. In theory it should not come back into your system again even if it stays on the server so I'm thinking there is something else we don't know yet about your setup. Can you be more specific.
