Questions / Problems From New Owner of Transformer

Nice to join this group here as I just bought the Tranformer for a few days.

Please help to advise some identified issues as follows :

1. Just found out a fault with my keyboard dock, as the Shift + 2 will input " instead of @, while Shift + ' will input @ instead of ". Please advise whether your keyboards do the same or it is my keyboard's hardware problem ?

2. With the internal email app came with the Transformer, please advise how can I set the delete of email only limite to the device and not deleting the email in the server (e.g. yahoo mail server) ?

Welcome to the Forum.

1. You need to go to Setting>Lang and Input>Current Input Method and select Asus KB US English. This will give you the @ when you use shift plus 2

2. As for the e-mail. Unfortunately, there is no setting to leave deleted mail on the server. Deleted mail will be in the servers Trash folder.

Try MailDroid. You can sync by deleting the server side mail or leave it alone. There are tons of other options in that app that you won't find in the stock client, like spell check, creating additional folders, junk mail controls and more.

For the TF standard email tap 4 bars with arrow top right corner, tap Account settings, tap incoming settings. Check to make sure delete email from server is set to never.

I used maildroid in my Android phone, but the incoming mail checking response seems not ideal as what I set.

If I recall, this setting is only present on POP accounts. IMAP accounts do not have this setting.

Got it.
And that's why I don't have such option for the Yahoo mail account.
