The SETTINGS contains an item called PowerSaver. I think the menu is badly designed to imply that the lower settings turn your WiFi off when not in use. But I think this probably only works when you have selected Battery Saver at the top and then only when battery falls below the percentage you set (I set 40%). If your battery runs down overnight it can only be because apps are running or your radios (WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth) are on. If you manually quit all programs and turn off all your radios and batteryt still runs down, you probably need a new battery.
I'm going to give Auto Airplane Mode (Don) a try.
Second discovery of the week is SHFT+Backspace is the same as the missing DEL key!

Several users have reported they use various techniques to maximize their Transformer Tablet and/or Keyboard Dock battery life. There also appears to be a way to extend battery life using Transformer applications (apps).
Please use this thread to discuss (only) apps for this purpose.
Once such app is: Auto Airplane Mode.
This app automatically enables airplane mode whenever the screen is turned off, and is therefore useful to save battery life when you are not using your Transformer.
The app can be downloaded from the Android Market here:
Please feel free to share your experience with this app and/or other apps you may know about.

Link in first post did not work for me. The thread was created Oct. 8-2011, over 2 years ago. Auto Airplane Mode by Don seems to have disssapeared from the Play Store. Do a Search there for AAM and mainy other apps will be listed. I do not know which one to recommend as I do not use one.

As far as I know, Google removed the Airplane mode API in android 4.2. This means that the app can no longer function in android 4.2 and later. There is however a WiFi API still functional. You can use an app called Screen Off WiFi Off to achieve the same thing.
