i have 3.2 and still have the problem. DMclient pops up twice after turning it on.
I tried the fix from page 2, cleared DMClient and it worked!

it seems that DMclient is part of the SDK (not sure if its android or java).... Device Management Client
its how the transformer does OTA updates I believe from my short search...
i had the error and could get a force close EVERY time i checked for updates
the problem i had clearing the data was that with DMClient force closing all the time it was not in my app list form me to clear
so had to keep waiting and checking until it was...
I don't think it matters if you close then clear or clear then close....as long as the corrupted data gets trashed and you restart BEFORE the app starts again sothat the app has a freash start to create the data it needs
pcwu2011 has the right thought on how to fix it .....
... data corruption seems to be the issue
if you clear the data and it works then your data was bad
AWESOME job pcwu2011!!!
remember restart ASAP after getting data cleared before the app can start again...that seems to be the key
may the force be with you
Hi all, i'm new!!
Same problem with my new Tf, 2 force close at startup and other 2 asking to do firmupdate, now i'm trying to catch the process running...
Thank you all
Thanks guys a quick clear data, force stop and a reboot cleared this issue up for me.

this worked on my Transformer with 3.2 already installed.thanks for the tip.
Can you explain to me exactly how to do a "reboot"? Thanks
If you are having problems with the DMclient "forced close" Do this: go to settings and then on the left tap on applications and then to your right tap on running services, tap on all so you can see everything that is running. Scroll down untill you see DMClient. When you are inside DMClient tap on "clear data" and then click on 'Force stop" and turn off your tablet and restart it. This should fix it.
