    Backlight cannot go past 60%

I've got a rooted TF, was running Prime 1.9 on it, and then all of a sudden the backlight started giving me issues when above 60%. I have to keep it on manual control or else the auto-control goes too high and turns it off. When rebooting the TF, the screen is able to light itself fine (not sure what % lighting boot is set to). I tried installing an older version of Prime, reinstalling 1.9, wiping, and now just installed Revolver, but the issue persists. Any suggestions?

I would un-root the TF and see if the problem is still present.

If it is still a problem, it could be a coincidence and be a hardware problem?

I haven't had tons of time the past 2 days to give it a go... the only un-root guides I have found seem to be rather complicated. Is there a simple method I'm not seeing?
