Docs to Go - can't see my SD card or MicroSD card

When I try to use Save As in Docs to Go, the browse for location box will not show my SD card or my MicroSD card. Is this standard behavior?

This seems to be a shortfall with Docs to Go.

Dan, Re your "Docs to Go - can't see my SD card or MicroSD card" - go to this thread: ASUS TRANSFORMER APPS - Teg32, 09-17-2011 & in that thread you'll see a way out by Freduruco, 09-17-2011, which seems to work. If still problems try re-entering your query in the ASUS TRANSFORMER APPS section, which is probably the correct section for this query. Hope this helps.

Ps I'm using the paid Docs to Go HD version.

    My solution:
*Download and open ES File Explorer and click on the SD Card Icon below local/mnt/sdcard
*This will take you to the root directory. Open Removable.
*You should see Microsd. Long press on Microsd. Chose shortcut when the menu pops up.
*You should see a MicroSD folder on your home screen.
*Open the MicroSD folder, browse to your desired file, Press on the file, choose open as from the menu and then text for docs/ebooks, images or videos and so on.
*Choose the app of your choic.
*You can choose to always use a particular program to open a particular file type or select from various apps each time.
*Use the same method to press on any file on your Microsd card and use open as to choose the app of your choice.

    Hope that helps,

    Tom

Tom, I do that - as long as the file is already on one of the cards, it's fine. I would just like to be able to open a file on the card from within the app, like when I'm finished with one file and ready for another, and save new files directly to the cards. Oh, well... I'm sure that will come in a future release.

Thanks for helping Dan out re thread, Fred. I had (have) no idea how to give a direct 'feed' to the required topic on the forum.

Just post the URL for the thread and it will automatically parse and link it.
