    PC no longer recognize TF

    Please help
    Today, I try to connect my Asus to PC as usual using the charger cable
    However, the PC did not recognize it, i try to restart the PC and ASUS it still not recognizing it
    I still can charge the ASUS with it, so the cable still working
    What should I do?

    I assume it once did see you PC and no longer does. Have you made any changes to the TF or the PC?

    Shut both the PC and TF down. Restart the PC and the TF. Now plug the TF into the PC and see if the PC recognizes it.

    yes it is recognize it in the past
    I did try it again to restart the pc and the tf but the result still the same
    my pc is win 7, i try it on my netbook, it says did not recognize the usb
    wonder if the cable is broken, but i still can use it to charge tf

    Have you tried both USB ports on the Dock?

    USB ports on the dock work fine

    i try to connect the TF to the pc using the charger as it is the easiest, however, looks like the usb on the charger stop working
    dont know why

    Sorry, I didn't explain myself properly. If you go USB to USB and the PC sees the TF we can confirm a cable problem.

    i see what you mean... yes the pc see it
    so my cable has problem.. i dont understand it still can charge
    and when I plug it into pc on the off condition, it turn on...so the power still go thru the cable but not recognize it strange

    Inside the cable there are 5 or 6 wires. Some may be damaged

    i see....then may need to seek for replacement for that
    will it eventually also cause problem on charging?

    can i ask for replacement from asus, it still under warranty for 1 year ? bought it on May
