Couple of questions about the Transformer

Hi,its my first time here i was so happy to find this forum,you sure did hide it well!!

okay my questions are:
1.Can i download songs/movies via the Transformer its self or i have to download in my pc and then transfer it to transformer?
2.Im going to buy the 16gig version,wanted to know if i can expand it in the future to 32gig?
3.I know that this is a dumb question,i know that the "WhatsApp" Application works on androrid based mobile devices such as samsung galaxy.
can i use "WhatApp" with the Transformer?

1. Probably need some more details. What sort of music are you downloading? From iTunes? Amazon? I think you can buy and download from Amazon MP3, I know you can at least play your music from there.

2. 16gb is totally fine, with the SD card slot you can add as many more cards as you want. The max I've actually heard people using is 32gb (in addition to the 16gb internal).

3. WhatsApp is just an Android app, and it should be compatible with Honeycomb, so go for it. See this thread for maybe some help: http://www.transformerforums.com/for...ansformer.html

I meant Like downloading movies or songs from megaupload or rapdishare,those kind of sites..i mean like the browser got downloading options?
can it open zip/rar files?

Yes, you can download from just about any website, any type of file. You just have to make sure there is a way to view/play the file on the TF to be able to do something with it.

oh and another question,Does the battery drain problems that i heard about are really common? because it will be a big problem for me,im buyin it in us but i live in israel..

There's a thread about battery drain. It's an issue with certain docks only, a chip inside prevents sleeping. As for zip/rar files, you might need a third-party file manager like File Expert, Astro, or ES. I have downloaded from FileSonic and such using Opera Mobile, opened with File Expert, no problem.

Well, you do have a chance of getting a bad dock, but you do have the advantage of being able to return it and get it replaced since Asus knows about the issue. Can you get one tested in the US before it's shipped to you?

Nevo I know you said you are getting your Transformer in New York which is fine but where are you getting your dock? I ask because if you get the dock from the USA the keys will be in English. Pardon my ignorance but just make sure that you get the dock that is best related to your country.
