Internet from desktop to tablet via Bluetooth

Can I tether my desktop to my Transformer via Bluetooth? My work strictly disallows wireless networks so I want to set up a Bluetooth PAN. Has anybody had any success in doing so? Anybody know of an app that makes this easy?

Not sure. Maybe by using PDAnet or something. I think you might have to bridge the connections or share the connection. Depending on how your network is set up, you will probably need admin rights to do either. Any network I've managed does not allow for this kind of hardware modification without admin rights.

I'm trying a simular thing. Currently, I have paired my Transformer to my PC, but no connection yet. Ultimately, I would want to connect the Transformer to the PC via Bluetooth and then share the PC's wired internet connection.

Did you managed to get it working?

I have tried this too, and I DO have admin rights.

My Transformer found the bluetooth adapter on the desktop to pair with but refused to connect to it. I tried using stuff like m-router (designed to do precisely what you asked for in the old days) but threw me an error while trying to connect. I don't see much point playing with PDANet.

I believe there are some tethering applications in google marketplace that allow you to have a DUN(Dial UP Network) into a PC's Bluetooth connection. I have never needed to try this but it sounds like it could work.
