    Default Email client problems

    Hi,

I am having strange behaviour with the default email client.

    What am I missing?

When I set up the POP account all seems well, but when
I connect, it only downloads and shows 8 emails even though there are/were more on the POP server.

When I then log in via a web based email client into my mail, I have only 8 emails.

Looks like the TF email client has deleted the rest, even though it was set up to leave on server (Default)

Also, I can not find any of the usual settings to set:-

    download size
    how many to download
    download attachments etc etc.

And finally, when the account is almost set up, there are account options,, one of which it:-

    "Sync email from this account"

What does this mean??............... Sync to Google cloud??

    Any help much appreciated

PS... I do not have any of these problems with the K9 email client.

    Hmmm....

That is quite odd that it did this. I do not have any experience with POP and the TF. I use IMAP for my mail servers as I have found that to be far superior for my needs than POP access. Someone out there with POP setup want to chime in?

They really need to work on that email client.

My problem is that it keeps on downloading old mail I havent removed from the server. I know its not my isp because my phone is using the pop email built in and it doesn't download old mail over and over.

Plus the not having a select all is real annoying.

It has never deleted mail on me though.
