    Sound Problem

    My friend has bought earplugs for the Asus Transformer, but when he pluged into the eee pad the sound still also comes from the speakers !
    Anyone have any idea how you can turn de speakers sound off?

    Firstly the sound should not com from the TF as well. Go to settings then sound and lower the vol. But that may lower the earbud as well.

    He already tried that one, buth the sound still comes from the speakers when he lowers the vol. this problem started when he updated the android from 3.1 to 3.2.. that is the only thing that changed

    First off, Welcome to the forum!

    Seconldy, I would try a CMR (Classic Mickey Reset) to see if this helps with the problem (which I have not seen before)

    Hard Reset:
    Unplug the power cord and shut the unit off and Press and Hold the power button and the "Down" volume button together for 6-10 seconds and let them both go. After a few seconds you should see a couple of shapes in the middle of the screen called "Wipe Data" and "Android". Wait a few more seconds until the term "Cold Boot" appears in the list near the top of the screens and just press and release the "Down" volume button again and let it reboot. If you own the dock be sure and do this with the dock connected.
