Hi - my new (arrived two days ago) shows HTJ85B.WW-epad-8.6.5.7-20110730 - is this more up to date? If so any ideas why the support site shows 8.4.4.11?

Welcome.

There are different versions for different nations on the site.

If you go to Settings>About Tablet>System Firmware Update - then touch the Check Update Icon....it will look to see if you have the latest version for your location.

If not...it will tell you there is an update for your location, and how to proceed. If you already have the latest version, it will let you know there are no new updates.

Yes it is more up to date! 8.4.4.11 was for 3.1 while 8.6.5.7 is for 3.2. Mine is actually just 8.6.5.6 but you have the latest firmware.

Me too, since i still havent got the 3.2 update!

Typically they push out the version updates first for a period of time, before having them available for a pull (download).

V3.2 is still be pushed out in various global locations at this time.

I'd anticipate it to be on the ASUS site for manual download soon....maybe within 30 days.

For everybody who hasn't got the 3.2 update over the Air, it looks like its availlable for manual download on the ASUS Support website:

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download Eee Pad Transformer TF101

At least the TW, US, DE, TB and the WW version are listed.. I can't update now, not at home, but will try to do it tonight.
