    TF-101 unresponsive

    Hi,

My TF-101 became unresponsive suddenly yesterday....I wasnt able to do any of the touchscreen functions. Also the power button wont work (wont switch off the device). Also power+up/down volume wont reboot the device. Basically none of the inputs to the ere-pad work. I let the battery drain, so the device shut down...Now it wont come back up (ie the power button and the volume buttons are still not functional)

Is my eee pad completely dead or is there is any other way to revive it ? Its about a couple of years old

    thanks

    Welcome to the forum.

Try holding the power button in for 30-40 seconds.

Mine has done that and the long power button press usually snaps it out of the coma it was in.

Welcome to the forum Parvat_2000! I would now try a trickle charge, plug it into a PC via USB for several hours, make sure the PC doesn't sleep during the charge. Once/if that gets it charging, you can top it off with the wall wart. Let us know if that perks it up.

Another tip to remember is that plugging your device into the a/c charger should switch it on...

I have the same problem. If I plug it into the power charger nothing happens.
