I have B60 and passed thepress any key test. I did see that leaving wifi enabled and putting it in standby, will drain the battery. So WiFi does not sleep.

There is no way to tell by the serial number of the dock??? It's not 100% clear, does this mean B70+ docks will NOT have issue?

I can only say that i have a B70 dock and don't have the drain issue...not sure if that represents all B70 units though...

I just got off the phone with ASUS tech support. They basically told me that I don't know how to operate my Transformer. They are unwilling to fix my dock. I don't know what to do next other than post my experiences here and on other sites.

Call back and ask for a supervisor - sounds like you got a rookie Cust Serv Rep.

Point them to this thread (and the few others on this site, and other sites). And call again. You will likely get a different response from a different support engineer.

I had trouble with them too. You can also reference this post on Engadget. Once I directed them to this (google "ASUS Transformer Dock Fix" and it is the first link) and they should be a bit more helpful. ASUS promises fix for Eee Pad Transformer power drain, keeps the apologies coming (update: Android 3.2 is coming "soon") -- Engadget

I also explained that if I dock it, charge to 100% on both and leave it 8 hours while sleeping it will lose 25% on the dock. If I charge both to 100% and undock and leave them for 8 hours the TF will lose 2-4% in the same time, and the dock will lose 1-2%.
