Sometimes when the TF starts acting a little crazy, a hard reset can get it thinking straight again. Hope your replacement doesn't give you any troubles.

The hard reset instructions below are for 3.2 OS they are the same for 3.1 but the screen will look a little different. Of course it's after the fact now but it may come in handy down the road.
    Hard Reset:
Unplug the power cord and shut the unit off and Press and Hold the power button and the "Down" volume button together for 6-10 seconds and let them both go. After a few seconds you should see a couple of shapes in the middle of the screen called "Wipe Data" and "Android". Wait a few more seconds until the term "Cold Boot" appears in the list near the top of the screens and just press and release the "Down" volume button again and let it reboot. If you own the dock be sure and do this with the dock connected.
    Current Devices:
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition - Dell Venue 11 Pro Bay Trail (On Order) - LG Optimus G Pro

Glad you got it returned. I hope number 2 is perfect for you because I believe the Transformer blows away the average netbook unless you have some heavy graphic computing like auto cad to do!

Mickey, (or Fred) I haven't had that happen, but what do you do if your screen should freeze up and the on/off button won't let you power off?

All I know to do is press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Try it again along with the power down button. If you can get the battery drained then you can hold the power button on for about 30 seconds while there is no battery juice at all in the unit as a type of reset before plugging it back in to recharge.

So far, what little time I have actually GOT TO HOLD and use my TF (less than 3 weeks total time) it never had this issue. But it's best to be in the know just in case. Thanks Mickey. (Will I ever get a chance to use my tablet for weeks/months on end like the rest of you? I hope so!)
