puzzling email
I wonder if anyone else is having this problem? When I write an email, I find quite often, and quite annoying, the faCT that a number of words are not entering the corresponding way I type them. Sometimes, the word will actually change while I am in the process of typing it, as if it is queuing or on some auto complete. Consequently, I have to check each letter before I send it or I look like a bumbling idiot........well, more often than I usually do. Do I just need to change a setting?Thank you so much.

You sound as if you are describing typing lag - would that be correct?
Or are you saying that tapping "a" brings up "b"?
Oh, and are we talking docking keyboard or screen keyboard & if the latter, then which one?

It sounds like you are describing "auto correction". You type in a certain word and another word is put in it's place instead. I know what you are saying. It makes you look like a bumbling idiot if you don't watch what word accidentally gets typed. This drives me crazy too (and probably the people I'm e-mailing.) I'm sure there must be a setting to turn this off but have been too lazy to look.

Hi, yes this is exactly what I am saying. You might type in " going around " and if you look back, it has chosen to put in " gone aground ". Obviously, this can make a letter quite unpredictable. It has to be a setting, but I have not found it yet.

I had that problem when I turned on auto correct on the keyboard I use. It was so bad I turned it off within a day. It was difficult to correct after the fact.

Check the keyboard settings in the Settings - language & input section.
There may be some settings for auto-correct and how aggressive it is, and also some keyboards have word prediction to try to help predict what you are going to type....
