    [Solved] TF101 discharging light

When I am charging my TF101, the light on the side green goes green when charged and connected to charger and is out when not connected.
As the battery discharges through use the light stays off until it goes below 90% then it flashes red.

However and I dont think it did this before it carries on flashing red when it goes into sleep mode after 5 minutes, is that right?

Hi reg1, to be honest, I've never really noticed what my light's doing--or why it's doing it.
(I believe it's steady orange when charging, and green when charged?) At least, I just eyeballed it & it's charging now--and orange.
The blink, perhaps someone else will chime in. Are you having battery issues or just wondering? I'll leave you this All Things Battery FAQ. It has more info and some links you may find worth a read. Cheers.

    Light on the dock:

Flashes when the dock battery is below 5%.
Solid amber when charging and is between 5% and 90%.
Solid Green when charging and above 90%

Keep in mind the battery icon in the status bar is ONLY the tablet battery, not the dock battery. Grab Dual Battery Widget from the Play Store to see the battery levels in your dock and tablet at the same time.

The dock battery drains first (down to 3% and then it will stay there), so you should see the dock light flashing before you start seeing your main battery drop below 95%.

Interesting, I had forgotten about the icon only being the tablet battery!
Have grabbed Dual Battery Widget and can see that the tablet is charged but dock battery at 48% but getting better, will leave it to charge fully and then see what happens to the lights and my battery life!

Thanks for pointing me in right direction

Thanks for the links and the thread, which had already read but worth knowing about.
It has just been pointed out to me about the icon only being the tablet battery which I had completely forgotten, have downloaded dual battery widget to help me!
