Angry Asus TF101 Completely Dead! Please Help!!!

Not even sure where to begin but here goes:

Have an Asus Transformer Tf101 tablet only, 2 chargers 1 OEM & 1 replacement OEM. Original is damaged from what seems to be possibly from the tablet being dropped when I wasn't home. In any case the charger had been getting hot over time but still charging. The new one very much the same as original, but now after an hour charge, 24hr charge, 10sec pwr hold dwn, 30 sec pwr, & 30 sec pwr & vol, I have no signs of life from my tablet. I have even tried removing the battery and using the ac adapter only, still nothing. Using PC Suite & or Windows, I have nothing as well. As to the backlight, after each of the charging sessions , I have taken it into a dark room hoping for even a screen flicker, no such luck. With the back cover open and ac brick plugged in, after about 15mins the processor and smaller heat sheilds get a lil warm as if the tablet is doing something. By smaller heat shields I am referring to the rectangular metal plates just above and to the left of the processor. I had checked the specs on my wife's Vivo Tab ac brick, they are the same, so I had given it a hr with this as well, still nothing. Anyone have any ideas as to even a possible solution? I am uncertain if my warranty is still good, I no longer have the card and know it is pretty close if not past expiration. Any input woould be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Welcome MFS, There have been posts that the ribbon cables can work loose on the 101 so check & make sure there firmly seated. If that is not the cause Disconnect the charger from the plug & connect it to a USB port on your PC if you have one, This will trickle charge your 101 but will take several hours so best to leave it overnite if possible. If your tab powers up re-connect to the wall outlet to fully recharge... Hope that helps!

Thank You Cattblue, any input is good at this point, however all ribbon cables are secure and tight. I had disconnected the charger and plugged into the pc but it is not even recognized at all. Any other ideas of what it could be?

I'll refer you to the Battery Use Guide which may help you resolve the problem. When you plug into the PC the PC must be left powered on and the tablet should be turned off. It will charge at about 3% per hour via USB.
