    Can't Access The Play Store

    Got it... I wish I didnt... First one was rebooting constantly... Second one (the replacement...): Unable to access Play Store... Sigh!...

    Welcome to the forum! Does it give you any kind of message as to why it can't connect to the Play store?

    It only says:
    Connection timed out. [Retry]

    Android 4.0.3 on a TF101
    I have tried pretty much anything posted on this forum...
    - Cold/Hard reset...
    - Factory Reset
    - Connecting through my IPhone's hotspot...
    - Deleting/ Re-Creating google account
    - Turning On/Off wifi
    - Upgrading my WRTG54 to the latest firmware

    Seems like all Google services are running very very slowly on the tablet... Even google.ca in a browser does'nt return any result when searching for something while Bing is really snappy and fast...

    I am really deceeived with this product so far... The first one had issues, the replacement one is also having issues... I used to trust ASUS for everything and now I'm going to be very hesitant before buying anything else from that brand...

    I wanted to know if people were still having issues (most problems reported are from March 2012...)

    Actually, problems with the 101 have been fairly scarce. Does it never connect, or just sometimes? I wonder if it could be your router that's causing the problem? Do you have WiFi Analyzer installed to check your signal. You might find some useful info in http://www.transformerforums.com/for...onnection.html

    I bought the TF101 2 weeks ago...

    It had the "constant reboot for no reason" problem BUT was able to connect to Google Playstore... Because it was rebooting so much, I've sended it back and received the unit I have right now. It does'nt reboot, but it can't connect to the store... That unit has never connected to it...

    It says: "Android Market is upgrading to Google Play" and then, after trying to connect, it says: "Connection timed out.[Retry]".

    - I have tried from another network i.e.: 3G network from my IPhone's hotspot. The message is different though when I'm trying to connect from my phone: "Server Error"...
    - I have noticed that even on Google Playstore, the web version, my Tablet doesnt "register" itself at all...

    I'm wondering if my TF101 "knows" the web address to get to the update/store... I'm a bit confused... I used to be a comp. tech., but switched career 8 years ago... I find that it has finally got me to the point where at power user level let's say...

    Forgive any mistakes btw, I'm VERY french canadian...

    Pyauthier, since you can't seem to access the Play store from other devices, it seems to me that there might be something amiss with your Google registration. I'm really not sure, but I know that you definitely have a problem! I'm going to move this thread to the Help category, where you can get some more knowledgeable advice!
