USB problems - not recognizing my files
Hi everybody,
Just got my Asus transformer today with the docking station. Unfortunately, I cannot get my USB drives to recognize any of the files on either of my flash drives (ones a San Cruzer) or my external hard drive. I was hoping to view word and powerpoint files on Polaris, listen to my mp3s, and read CBR files. I can access the USB folder in file manager but nothing shows up in the drive when i click it. Same goes for trying to open files through programs. Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

Hi,
I know this is of little help but.................
I have 3 or 4 San Cruisers 8GB and they work fine.
Also a WD 320 GB external Drive and that also works fine.
The correct app opens the associated files/vids etc.
Have you tried both USB ports??
Also maybe a restart of the Transformer with the dock connected may help.
Good luck.

I sporatically had a similar issue until I downloaded File Manager HD an used it instead of the supplied file manager. Now it reads all the file I give it flashdrive, SD, MicroSD, USB Hard drive.
