    upgrade to ics

    Currenly running honey comb how do i upgrade to ics and is it neccesary

    Hi benjispop, Welcome. ..not sure what tablet model you have, a tf 101 perhaps?
    Are you sure you're on honeycomb and not ICS?
    If you hit Settings-About Tablet and click on System Firmware Update your tablet should check to see if there's an update available. You can get full instructions on how to manually update in this thread.

    EDIT--I should've added, you can find out what version of android you are running if you go to Settings-About Tablet and look at the Android Version on the right hand pane.
