    Screen brightness always full bright

Love my new transformer, but my screen is always on maximum brightness. I have tried changing setting and "brightness" apps, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Under settings / screen, is your brightness setting set to auto? Try setting it back to manual and see if it helps.

Yeah I can't stand the auto brightness thing myself even though some love it. I also suggest rebooting the Transformer anytime it acts a little weird.

Thanks for the answers. Ive tried rebooting and changing the screen brightness manually. No change. Ive also tried covering the sensor and shining a bright light on it. The screen is still stuck on full brightness. Maybe its due for repair/exchange?

I would say this is due for an exchange. Hopefully you can do it at your retailer and not have to send to ASUS.
