TF101 Videos Not Playing ... Please Help.

I recently got a used TF101 and I'm having major issues with playing any type of videos on my tablet. I'm running the latest version of ICS and I've updated all the necessary updates on ICS. The problem is I don't have the most recent and last version of Flash player and I can't update the version that i have on my tablet because there is not option to update. I think I have flash version 9 or something from last year. The problem is whenever I try to play a video half the time its slow and extremely choppy and the other half of the time i get a blue icon lego piece where the video should be playing. Video on my tablet is the worst...ever! Its worse than trying to watch video on a flip phone in 2005. I tried downloading MX player and other apps but none of those apps helps at all.

My question is how do I get video to work on my Tablet? Is there a substitute for flash player in Google Play? How can Adobe discontinue flash on tablets when like 80% of the internet uses flash for their videos? How ridiculous is that? Its so frustrating!!!!! Please help thanks.

If you're watching videos from websites, try Chrome. So far it seems to work well for me.

For video files, I use Moboplayer with the ARMV7 codec.

thanks. I'm mainly talking about watching video from websites. I don't really download something from the internet and then watch it later on my tablet. Does anyone have any recommendations about any codecs or any apps or anything that I can download to replace flash? All i see is that stupid blue lego icon with a question mark and it bugs me to up the wall!!!!!!!

You might want to uninstall flash player, reboot, and then get the latest flash player from the Play store?

Thanks i checked out the link you posted and I found the section on downloading previous versions of flash. If you download something in Google Play it will automatically install it for you and create a shortcut after the installation is done. Once I download the archived version of Flash player from the Adobe website do I have to install it manually or will it do it automatically and do I have to install anything else to be up to date with everything flash?

Adobe flash player is at version 11, Ithink its no longer availble on app store so you will need to search online. Make sure its the tablet version, sounds obvious but thought i`d add that anyway...

I recently added this section to the browser thread...

How to "sideload" Adobe Flash Player (or any other .apk file)

    1. In settings, security, allow the installation of apps from unknown sources.
    2. Download or Copy the Adobe Flash Player .apk file to your device.
    3. Open the File Manager & tap the Adobe Flash Player .apk file to install it.
    4. Go back to settings, security, & untick (disallow) the installation of apps from unknown sources.
