    [SOLVED] TF101 recursive reboots

TF101 16MB purchased June 2011, connected to dock, power cord not inserted, no SD cards, all BIOS and software fixes installed, including ICS. I have not seen a JellyBean update offered.
Last successful reboot = August 16; problem started on August 17.
Now, after reboot finishes and posts login screen, a restart is self-initiated after about 5 seconds. Whether or not login is completed, the restart happens within seconds.
Cold start via Power + Vol Down buttons have same result. This occurs whether WiFi is on and it finds a network, on & does not find a network and when set to off.

I would appreciate any and all suggestions to make my tablet usable again. I am an Android novice. No rooting has been done.

    Thank you,
    Phil

    Hi Phil,

I think the best answer to this is to suggest following this guide. One of the options should work.

I am disappointed that I could not resolve my problem with a Linux Cold Start. The Factory Reset returned my TF101 to life. I am now reinstalling the apps I lost. THANKS for the pointers and encouragement to try the Factory Reset.
