    Cannot mount sdcard & data

Just got my Transformer back from the service center yesterday (screen spoiled) and they did a reset, so I had to flash a new ROM (Android Revolution).

Things started messing up when I placed Superwipe in my internal sdcard instead of external.
The wiping process got stuck half way so I rebooted into recovery to try again.

Now I keep getting the error "can't mount sdcard" and "error mounting /data".

I know that the ROM works perfectly because I did the exact thing before sending my tablet into repair,
nothing has changed except for location of Superwipe.

I've tried googling and searching and still, I can't flash a new ROM because it simply can't read the sdcard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think your best bet is to NVFlash back to stock and start over personally. You could try the PERI tool located in the developer section and see if using it to put a new recovery on the tf will help.

Re: Cannot mount sdcard & data

I think the issue is using the FULL SUPERWIPE will wipe the internal SDcard where the superwipe is located, along with the ROM you are trying to flash.

You will need a CWM that supports the microSD. I know that CWM 3.X does, but it is a bit archaic. Not sure if any of the touch versions support microSD.

@calf: Thank you for the tool, very useful but... sadly, it didn't work ):

    @Fred: Yes that's what I thought too.

I would try anything now just to get my transformer working. How do I install CWM when it can't start-up nor read sdcard?

As a last resort, would bringing the it to the repair centre (again) help?

The peri tool will install cwm. Have you looked into nvflash?

I think the tablet already has CWM ([RECOVERY] CWM based recovery v5.5.0.4 + repacked Touch CWM v5.8.1.8 - xda-developers). I've tried searching but not sure how to use NVFlash, bit of a tech idiot here

I know you have CWM, but you don't have a version that can see the internal sdcard and presumably the external sdcard. If the tablet could mount /data it could install a new ROM, but not being able to do so, it can't write some very needed files.

Can you boot into CWM? It should be power + vol down, then volume up when you see the white lettering at the top, once in try the wipe data/factory reset option and post any errors you see.
