    How do you get yours to stay on debug-.....I reset it multiple times and it just goes back.....i am getting really frustrated...

    I didn't have to 'do' anything; just changed the setting and saved it. The app then retained the setting which is what I would expect...

    sorry, didn't do anything more complex than that!

    Having the exact same problem...a few days ago, e-mails stopped coming in on a regular basis. Hitting "refresh" icon brought up the yellow bar saying "couldn't connect to server".
    I deleted all e-mail accounts and proceeded to re-enter. The G-mail acc't(which I don't use) is up and running.
    The real problem is my MSN account. After many tries I was finally able to get past the Incoming server settings, but I cannot get past the Outgoing settings. I've tried all combinations of Security Type and Port...but no luck.

    Any ideas?

    The debug server is used so they can check what is going wrong when you synchronize with the server.
    So if you want, you can manually synchronize your account with the debug server and then mail the exact time and date to the Windows Live Product team.
    Don't know what the email address is though...too lazy to search...

    This really worked. My wife was driving me nuts and wanted it working. I created a monster when I bought her the prime for Christmas and caused her to become addicted. Thanks to everyone I now have some peace.

    Microsoft says to change the server to the server of your account.
    To do this, do the following:
    Login to your account on mail.live.com
    After login the address changes to, for example 9w.bay159.mail.live.com/.
    Use the three letter code behind the first period. In this case BAY, but this could be different for your account.
    Place the three letters in the server address followed by -m.
    For this server it would become bay-m.hotmail.com

    I got this from the same page of my previous post.

    I had the same issue as many of you with my hotmail account, which had been synched on my TF101 since I bought it a year ago. Thanks, everyone, for providing a solution for this problem. Now, let's see how long it works......

    Hello all,

    I tried this solution and it worked for receiving emails however I cannot send emails. When I try to send an email it just sits in my outbox. I get no error messages and it never moves to my sent folder.

    Any suggestions anyone?
