    Touchscreen dead-spots??

Hi everyone, greetings from the UK.

I have owned my tf 101 with dock for about 3 weeks now, but have noticed around the centre of the screen it doesnt respond to touch, eg on the youtube app, it is exactly where the full screen icon is (in landscape mode)
Is there anything i can do my end to bring it back to life or does it have to go back to asus.

It is only about a cm2 in the middle, but when i use notepad i can completely fill the screen when drawing??

Confused!! Thanks in advance for any help you may have

Download the Multitouch tester maybe that will help you pin down any issue. It's free from Amazon appstore.

Haha not all has gone to plan, touchscreen is now fine, but when i went to charge up the battery...nothing.
The tablet doesnt see the charger, when i plug the dock in, it types but does not charge off the dock, the charger is fine as when i put it in the dock, it lights up. so now a new RMA and back to repair centre,

    And the fun begins...

    Sorry to hear that.
Have you tried a cold boot? Seems to fix alot of issues and if you just have a glitch maybe it'll straighten out.
    Maybe worth a shot.
You can find info here on both battery issues and the steps to cold boot/hard reset.

thanks eejit but ive already been reccomended to do that by asus uk, also did a total factory wipe which did nothing, looking at the report its had 3 replacement parts, lcd bezel assy, touchpanel con_bd , and a 10.1 wxga gl (?) so it looks like ,in the process of changing all those parts, somethings got disconnected or broken, would have thought there would be some sort of QA test before it got sent back out? (Bear in mind the tablet has had to been flown 1000+ miles to another country!!)
Oh well hopefully this time round everything will be sorted, really miss not having ,my tablet!!!!

Ok! Looks like we are up and running again! Replaced two parts; the charger dock, and apparantly the rear camera was broken aswell! Wasnt before the first RMA! Oh well alls well that ends well, i like having a tablet so much i was tempted to get a prime or a 300 in a few months, but unfortunately this episode has put me off Asus somewhat..

I hope to be adding more happier posts in the future!!

I hear you on your pain with ASUS, unfortunately they drop the ball (quite often--at least from some of the posts here).
Let's hope you're done dealing with them now and it's smooooooth sailing.
