    Keyboard/Dock Problems...

    Hi there,

    I was wondering if anyone else still has issues with the keyboard/dock since upgrading to ICS?

    My backspace has never worked since and there is a few other glitches in there!!

    Does anyone have a solution to this?

    Welcome to the forum! (or at least your first post )

    I have not had any ICS issues relating to the keyboard. Have you tried undocking/re-docking and a hard reset with the dock connected?

    Yes I have tried a hard reset with the dock connected, I think I've tried everything!! but had no luck so far.

    I was kinda hoping a new firmware update would solve the issue but the latest update made no difference.

    I read in one of the posts way back when the upgrade was first available that a few other people had the problem so I was glad it wasn't just me :P so I'm not entirely sure if they got it sorted.

    If still under warrenty I would call ASUS and get an RMA and let them fix the problem. Don't email for a RMA they are very slow to respond.

    I just have to soft-reset my tablet every time I leave it docked for a few hours without using it. It's really starting to irritate me. Anyone else have that problem?

    I have not seen many reports of that problem, however, if the tablet and keyboard dock are not "seated" well, strange behavior of one or the other device can happen.

    Also, depressing and holding the POWER and VOLUME DOWN button together for about 12-14 seconds (until the ASUS logo reappears) will provide a full system reset and clear any memory hiccups you might have. You may want to try that.
