    Recent Firmware Update

I hadn't used my 101 in a week or two and today when I turned it on, I noticed there was a firmware update (9.2.1.24.20120503).
I also noticed that there were 11 other updates. One was Flash Player which I downloaded / installed, but I am a bit confused about the other 10 updates, which are for programs I (we) never use. Is it necessary to download / install those 10 updates also (if we never use the apps)?
If not, how can I get rid of the notifications if they appear again or different ones appear in the future (for programs we do not use)?
    Thanks for any help.

I run into that a lot, just go ahead and update them if they are system apps. If they are apps you installed at one point, uninstall them and they should stop bothering you.

    Thank you.
#1- Wouldn't downloading and installing "all" those apps, eventually cause "large" storage loss?

#2- BTW - Would you know if I can charge the 101 and dock together (while the 101 is inserted into the docking station? While the AC cord is connected to the docking station.)
Or must they be charged seperately?

    Either way is good.

Not only can you charge them both at the same time, you can use your Transformer while it's charging. It will just take longer to charge. I use it plugged in quite a lot and after 11 months still seems to be fine.

Regarding the apps, most of them use up only a small portion of your storage. go to settings>storage you will see the amount the apps are using listed. I have 152 apps on my Transformer and they take up 2.39GB of storage.

I went back to download the updates, but I do not see the "notification" icon in lower right of screen. Where can I find those updates that need to be downloaded and installed? Is there a special section where I might look to find them now (that they no longer appear at lower right of screen in the "notification" icon)?

If you are referring to the app updates. Open the Play Store app and tap the down arrow in the upper right corner.

Also if the apps are ASUS installed that you cannot delete they will not take up any more space, it is just a bug fix or an enhancement to the app.
