How to save to SD card or External zip drive

I have ab SD card that the Transformer recognizes and I have plugged in a zip drive that ASUS says they found. However, when I click on a picture or video and I slect the symbol to move a record there are no choices to save to either the SD card or the zip drive. What do I need to do to save from the tablet to and external drive or memory card?

A file manager will do what you want to do.

A lot of apps (including Gallery and Camera) do not allow you to save pictures and movies to external media.

If you use the in built "File Manager" from ASUS on the ICS builds it is quite easy to jump between the internal and external media as there are buttons on the left for "Internal", "MicroSD", "SD" and "USB" on the left hand side.

If you are using another file manager, be advised the internal directory is "/sdcard/" and the external is in the "/Removable/" directory. In the Removable directory will be the following directories depending on what is inserted: "MicroSD", "SD" and "USBdrive".

This is really the one nuisance of ICS I just can't stand. Giant step backwards in making it so difficult to manage the location of my data, not to mention for games that have huge data files I cannot store that data on the sd card.

I'm hoping they will change this in the future.
