    Loading photos from DSLR camera?

Anyone any ideas for the best way of loading photos from my DSLR (CF Card) to eee pad to check image quality on a shoot?. I don't want to use a dock, (I guess I could load to that using the USB cable from the camera). If I have to take a dock with me I might as well take my proper Asus laptop which has Lightroom etc as well, and is not much heavier than the eeepad combo.

I do somewhere have a little USB to USB copying box, and guess I could copy from the cable or the CF card to a Micro SD and load the pics that way, but it is pretty tortuous.

I don't have that copy box with me (I am on a long trip), but wonder if I could copy directly from the camera cable (USB) to the sync cable (USB). Anyone tried it?

Maybe I have the wrong device (eee pad) but I could go the the dark side and copy to an ipad using the camera connector....horrible thought....or go Iconia and use the built in USB, almost equally horrible. I want to stay with eeepad it possible and this is the worst problem I have found.

    Please help with your ideas

    cheers

    tom

Don't suppose your DSLR supports bluetooth? That might give you a wireless connection.

So far, I know one solution. Not surprisingly, it requires extra hardware.

    1. Buy CF-to-SD adapter (http://www.amazon.com/SDHC-High-Spee.../dp/B0048W4RV4)
    2. Load an Eye-Fi SD card into that adapter (http://www.amazon.com/Eye-Fi-Class-W.../dp/B002UT42UI)
    3. Install Eye-Fi app from the Market (https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result)
    4. As you set everything up and start shooting, the images will be transmitted to your TF via WiFi.

I assume you are a photog like me. Welcome!
