    Hide Pictures from Gallery?

    Hi all.
Is there a way to hide folders form the image gallery? without an app like kii or the way to create a .nomedia file?

    Thanks
    Cyber

Not much I can think of... Not sure if this fits your expectations but if you use QuickPic gallery replacement, it offers two ways of not showing: "hiding" (by placing the .nomedia) and "excluding". The latter would not show the album in the application itself if you are ok with making it your default viewer. It is still visible in the stock gallery.

One head's up, the .nomedia trick may not work on Honeycomb (or my Gallery is being stupid and ignoring it).

The .nomedia trick doesn´t work with all folders i think. i.e. the Download Folder.

The fact that .nomedia is ignored as well as hidden folders and files is a bug. Hopefully ASUS will fix it. The only thing you can do is use something like HideNSeek to make the gallery ignore it.
