How do I delete unwanted WiFi networks?

I have connected to several public WiFi networks and they are still present under the WiFi section of the Settings App. How can I delete some the unwanted WiFi networks that still show but I no longer will use?

Long press on the network name and on the popup select "Forget Network"

    Thanks.

P.S. If I go back to the location of a network that I selected to "forget network", will it show up again so I can use it?

Tried that, but I get a "Connect to network"popup.

This only works on ones that you have saved. If it is just scanning and shows it but you have never connected to it, then you cannot remove it.
