    TF101 keyboard Touchpad doesn't work

    Apparently is a common issue but I didn't found a solution other than return to ASUS. I have a TF101 and everything works greatexcept for the keyboard touchpad. I already try the enable button but it still doesn't works. Everything else at the keyboard works great. Is there any possible solution different than returnethe product to the manufacturer?

    Thanks;

    Hi bartobad, I'm having the same issue with the touchpad. I've tried the suggested cold/hard boot, but without success. Did you get a resolution or did you return the dock to ASUS?

    Cheers

    Just in case you missed it in the orignal post are you aware that the fourth key from the left on the top row turns the touch pad on and off?

    Dear Bartobad, unfortnantely you are out of luck! I had exactly the same problem and found no solution from Asus even after their repair center had my Asus TF101 with them for over 6 weeks. The repair center is the worst I have ever experienced, although Asus customer service itself is good. All the repair center could tell me was to change the mother board of my tablet for the keyboard to work. This did not make much sense to me because the tablet in itself is working perfectly o.k. My problem is that it does not recognize the keyboard. Strangely enough the cursor of my keyboard works on my tablet and you can see the arrow move on the tablet with the aid of the soft pad. But the keys(alphabetical and numeric) of the keyboard do not work. Asking me to pay $248.00), almost the price of a new tablet, just to replace a motherboard on my tablet did not seem to me to be a logical answer. My sincere belief is that the repair center had no clue how to repair my keyboard, because of the varying reasons they had given me before. After a back&forth with them, I asked for my equipment to be returned to me. I liked my Asus bery much but with the experience I had had to buy an Ipad. My Asus tablet is still working but without the keyboard it does not serve me the way I'd like it to.
