    unable to upgrade from 3.01 to 3.1

    Hello i just got my tab and i tried to update os but it says no updates available. It is showing 3.01 right now. Any ideas?

    I hope someone in the know answers this as I have exactly the same situation - just bought, but the thing doesn't seem to want to upgrade.

    I think 3.1 adds some facilities which make it easy to tether, which is what I really want to be able to do.

    This solution document was posted in a similar topic a couple days ago and solved it for me:

    Just be sure you put the correct 3.1 upgrade file for the region of your TF on the microSD card.

    Upgrade went smoothly for me without losing any customization or installed apps, and definitely improved performance on video and keyboard dock functionality.

    thanks TheExpat, I found that a few posts away, and just went through the upgrade procedure, worked like a charm as you say. Problem solved.
