tf_101, ics update, still stuck on a boot loop, need help!

Since I received the update for ICS my tf-101 has a boot loop problem. After a few minutes the tablet is in standby mode, the booting screen with the asus logo and the rotating dot appears. Need help to solve this problem.

    OK,
First try the l o n g press on the powerbutton restart
If that doesn't work, you can perform the Factory Reset from the Hard Reset routine linked from FAQ & tips in my signature.

Thank you for answering quickly! I all ready tried the long press powerbutton restart and it did'nt solve my problem. I think I will try the factory reset like you suggested.

I am having the same problem with the tf101 b90. I've tried to cold reset, reset pin, data wipe, as well as the recovery partition. None of them work and the tf just freezes on the Asus eepc splash screen. When I do the recovery I get the android logo with a yellow caution and it just freezes there. I tried to download the is firmware and put it on a microsd card but I can't get the tablet to try and boot to the sd card unless I'm doing it wrong. How do I get this thing running again? Thanks in advance.

You might try some other methods like NVflash or APX mode, but I am not knowledgeable enough to guide you in those areas. There are plenty if threads on here about them though

Got some info from Asus tech support after an hour on the phone. Seems to be
    working so far.
From your PC go to support.Asus.com and search TF101 in the search box.

    Click"download" then "Firmware"

Look for your version of the transformer. Mine I is 9.2.1.17 US

Extract file to blank micro sd and insert into tablet. You'll see an exclamation point pop up in the bottom notification bar. Tap it, and it'll do the rest. Good luck!

Thank's Jeremydm for the tip! I just did a factory data reset. I did it not 3 times, but 4 times to be sure that my tablet would be clean. Actualy I cross my fingers and I am waiting. Hope it will work. Waiting to see if the loop starts again and waiting if I will receive all the updates, including ICS.

Nearly 24 hres have past and nothing happened . Seams the solution of doing a factory reset worked well. I think we have to be carefull of what we download.
