    connecting tf101 to tv

I am trying to connect my 101 to my tv. I have a cable connected to the tv DVI and the other end to the 101 with a mini HDMI connector but I get nothing, the tv is searching for signals. Now I used this connection with my laptop and it worked fine. any ideas? am I missing something?

So you have a mini hdmi to DVI cable?
Connected to your tf & tv screen?
You have selected the correct input on your tv?

Then it should "just work". I guess you could try rebooting your tf while connected. There were reports of some screens, notably *some* Panasonic models not working, but I thought that had been cleared up in firmware updates.

YES That was the first thing I tried with mine - the useless adapter was soooo tight it wrecked two perfectly good hdmi, leads & didn't work, either. Bought a new mini hdmi to hdmi lead & everything worked

    The adaptor is the culprit
