    Recover App data

    Hello all,

    I need some help

So, I used the Backup App that came with my TF101 to backup some apps (i used the option Backup Data & App); so far so good.

Then i did a factory reset and restore only one app from my previous backup (a game called "Deadly Dungeons").

The restore was successful and the game runs... however, i do not have the data.
This game creates a folder directly over /SDCARD/DeadlyDungeons with saves, etc... (which is missing)

I thought (and i was obviously wrong), that the backup was going to save "DATA and app". Is that so? what "data" means exactly? or this was just an isolate case?

Another question... i did saved manually a long time ago the folder (dont ask me why) on my external card, folder i deleted later on.

I checked for some "undelete" apps on the market only finding a couple for root devices (mine is not). Does anyone knows an app i could use to "recover" that deleted folder on my removable card?

You *might* get it back on a PC. Might being the operative word. On the tablet - no chance AFAIK.

Appbackup is an excellent utility. It backed up & restored my games just fine although I did have to re-download the large data packs for games like Sentinel 3
