For me I didn't have this issue with Honeycomb. Since upgrading to ICS (which I was dying to get) I have had various issues with not booting and shutting down whenever it decides to. I like ICS but I am almost tempted to go back to Honeycomb until the issues with ICS are completely resolved.

Hello everyone, I am new in this forum. I am a not-very-proud owner of a TF101.

I was very happy with the good old Android Honeycomb, everything worked just fine. Then I upgraded to ICS. Now, instead of sleeping, the tablet shuts down and I have to press the power button for 10 seconds in order to turn it on again. It is also running slightly slow. I know the issue is already known, but I just wanted to say how frustated I am. Of course, if anyone is aware of a fix or workaround please let us know.

I just got my Transformer this past week - and already I'm on this forum looking for this thread - so you can guess I've had this happen too. I don't know if it came with ICS or if that was part of the first upgrade it did, but that's what's running now. I've got plenty of memory and battery left and I'm sitting 4 ft. from the router. It just failed to load a webpage even though it said wi-fi was connected, then poof - off. I didn't know about 40 seconds but after holding the on button down for a while it did come back up...finally.

Will keep looking for any answers before I return it.

Instead of performing a regular reset from the 'settings dialog', I turned on the device pressing the 'volume down' key and followed instructions to reset the device. I also removed the microSD card (I havent inserted it yet) before resetting the tablet. It has been working without problems ever since. I don't understand why it fixed the problem nor say it will fix your tablet.
