Unable to restart after power off without dock

I have not power off for sometime. However, there been an occasion a few weeks ago, when after power off, the TF will not power up despite pressing the power button for some time. Only after docking it, the TF can be powered up again. Didnt think much about it as all other functions as normal.
Just upgrade to ICS last night. All seems to be smooth, love the upgrades. However, I powered off this morning and was not able to power up again. Had to dock the unit, press the power button for about 20 sec. before it power up again.
Then I power off again, wanting to do a cold reboot but after pressing the power button + volume up button for several seconds, nothing... despite it being docked. Only able to do normal power up.
Any suggestions? Should I RMA this unit. Had it since Sept 2011 only. Never rooted.

    TF101 16g (Both TF + dock is B80) user.

Volume + Power Up is APX mode.

Hard Reset - Volume + Power Down for 10-12 seconds until you see some small text. Release and wait.
