Cool Daylight savings bug in calendar app and widget

The date/time for the device has daylight savings time.
But the calendar app and widget do not have an option to just use the device settings. Rather you have to set your own and there is no daylight savings option. I use exchange to push my corporate emails. All my meetings on the calendar which have been pushed are an hour off.
I have and have had many android phones over the years and never had this issue.

Funny they would have this bug in honeycomg or is it ASUS?

Whatever, any one know of a patch to fix?

Do you mean the Google calendar app that comes on the device?

My General preferences has "Home time zone" greyed out and it's using the OS timezone, and is respecting summer (that is, daylight savings) time.

I haven't tried email myself any appointments to see what happens.
