    Kindle app error: Sync failed - try again later

    Have been using the amazon kindle app to read on the transformer for months with no problems. Suddenly today, I bouht a new ebook from amazon and cannot get it to upload onto the transformer. Both auto and manual sync attempts result in an error: "sync failed. Please try again later". Have tried to uninstall/reinstall the kindle app (per other forums for different mobile devices), but cannot uninstall kindle from my transformer (apparently can only uninstall programs which i have downloaded??).

    Any ideas how to fix the sync issue? Thanks!

    Note: i know the wireless connection is okay, since i am on it right now.

    Welcome to the forum

    Have you fully updated the Kindle app? You will need to look for it on the market as it doesn't show up in your installed apps list until you do.

    If you have then I suggest....
    1. settings - applications - all - amazon kindle app
    2. force close, clear cache, clear data
    3. hard reset your tf
    4. then try again

    Cool This fixed my Problem....

    I had the same problem with my Droid RAZR. Turns out this was another "issue" caused by being plugged into a PC. When I unplugged my phone, the sync had no problems. As long as my Droid RAZR is plugged into my PC, my Kindle Books will not show.
